At Young Bhangra Calgary, we believe music is a powerful tool for self-expression and self-discovery. Our goal is to help women of all ages express themselves through their love of dance, song, and cultural heritage.Our instructors are trained to teach ladies sangeet (classical dance) in a way that is both accessible and fun. We need female sangeet dancers and music teachers, and we are here to fill it.
We offer a variety of classes to suit your needs. Our primary focus is teaching our students how to dance so they can perform at local community events. We also have an extensive curriculum covering Bhangra dancing and more advanced techniques, such as partner dancing and handstands. This, combined with our focus on teaching proper etiquette and health & safety, will help you learn how to dance the Bhangra correctly so you can be confident performing at your events.
